About the Project
In 2015 Sulphur Emission Control Areas (SECAs) or Emission Control Areas (ECAs) were enforced in sensitive sea areas with stricter controls to minimize airborne emissions (SOx, NOx, ODS, VOC) from ships. One way of complying with the rules is installation of exhaust gas cleaning devices called Scrubbers.
Technocean delivery:
Technocean Consulting AB have been engaged to make Investment Estimates and evaluations of different scrubber technologies. Further Technocean have also been engaged to project manage the conversion of the vessels chosen for Scrubber retrofit.
